About Me

I'm a writer, originally from Tel Aviv and now living in Bournemouth, Dorset.

My world revolves around words.

This is my personal blog where I write about topics that interest me, like stoicism, minimalism, creativity, books, travel, and getting shit done.

I've been blogging for over 7 years. My work has been published on Thought Catalog, The Huffington Post, Elle, Creatomic, The Daily Mail, Good Trade and others. I also gave a recent TEDx talk on creativity and vulnerability.

The vast majority of posts on this site start off as pages in my notebooks. If something seems like it might be interesting to other people, I turn it into a post.

I don't use social media, so the best way to get in touch is via email (see below.) I'm usually open to a chat over Skype. You can find me on a few other platforms - Medium, Quora and Linkedin.

Or, if you're interested in working with me, see here.

This is my cat, Patti (named after Patti Smith.) Her favorite food is cardboard and her hobby is destroying things.

Some other housekeeping-y stuff:

  • I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon. (This means that I receive a small commission for anything you buy from a link on this site, at no extra cost to you.)
  • I sometimes quote other people's work. This is always in italics and with a clear credit. If you believe I am infringing on any form of copyright, please get in touch.
  • I sometimes reference people I know in real life. When appropriate, I change identifying details or use composites, in order to respect their privacy while remaining true to reality.
